🔹 Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Type: Full-Time | Part-Time | Flexible Scheduling
Overview:
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You’ll help promote independence, ensure safety, and assist with daily living tasks while fostering a positive and empowering environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)

Support with meal preparation and feeding assistance

Escort clients to appointments and recreational activities
-
Provide companionship and build meaningful relationships
-
Assist with light housekeeping and home organization
-
Administer medication reminders and document services
-
Support implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs)

Respond appropriately to challenging behaviors with training and empathy
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
-
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

🔹 Homemaker/
Personal Care (HPC) Provider
Type: Full-Time | Part-Time | On-Call
Position Summary:
HPC Providers deliver person-centered, in-home support to individuals with developmental disabilities under the Level 1 or Individual Options (I/O) Waivers. Providers ensure that daily living activities, personal goals, and support needs are addressed in a respectful, compassionate, and structured manner.
Key Responsibilities:

Follow the Individual Service Plan (ISP) to support the client’s specific goals, preferences, and routines.

Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
-
Prepare meals, support dietary needs, and encourage healthy living practices.
-
Provide medication reminders and ensure proper documentation.
-
Support skill development in money management, time management, and communication.
-
Encourage meaningful daily activities and social connections, both in the home and community.
-
Maintain documentation in accordance with waiver requirements and agency protocols.
-
Participate in team meetings and training to ensure consistent, quality care.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.
-
Must meet provider requirements as outlined by DODD for Level 1 and I/O Waivers.

CPR/First Aid certification and current background checks.

Ability to work independently and responsibly in a home environment.

Patience, reliability, and a passion for helping others thrive.

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license may be required.
🔹 Transportation Support Staff
Position Summary:
Transportation Support Staff are responsible for safely transporting individuals with developmental disabilities to and from appointments, errands, programs, and recreational activities. They serve as key facilitators of access, engagement, and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate agency or personal vehicles to transport clients in a safe, timely, and respectful manner.

Assist individuals with entering and exiting vehicles, including use of mobility aids as needed.

Provide companionship and reassurance during trips, promoting socialization and comfort.
-
Follow scheduled routes and client appointments accurately and responsibly.
-
Promote independence by encouraging clients to participate in errands and tasks.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and care teams about any concerns or incidents.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicle; report maintenance issues promptly.

Support clients during community outings with patience, awareness, and care.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required.

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
-
Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs.

Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
-
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required upon hire.
